 POLESDEN LACEY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER

EXTRA!

Money and Cheques to the Office

Thank you to everyone who is remembering to send monies to the office in an envelope clearly labeled with child’s name, class and what it is for.  There is a tray in the foyer with old envelopes that you are welcome to use.

Languages spoken at Polesden Lacey Infant School

We are really interested to learn of the different languages spoken in our community and we are keen to make everyone feel welcome by displaying a greeting in your language on our front door.  We need to update our sign and need your help to do this.  If you speak a language other than English at home, please complete the slip and return to school or just write welcome in your language on a pie of paper and pass it to Mrs Keedy.

Action Aid Sale

A reminder that this takes place on Tuesday during school time.   Children should bring unwanted toys and games that are in good condition to school before or onn the day.  There is a collecting box by the front entrance.  On the day children need to bring £1 to purchase a ‘new’ toy to take home.  All proceeds will go to Action Aid.  After school there will be a cake sale and the remainder of the toys will be on sale.

Independent Children

Well done all of those children who are carrying their own belongings in and out of school.   Please help the teachers make a smart start to the day by saying goodbye at the outside classroom gate and ensuring children have all of their belongings to bring in.  Many thanks for your support.
