Auro and Borea, our polar bear cubs

We are always on the look out for ways of introducing the issues of climate change to our very young children via media that they can understand. The children have been very excited about a project that is organised by Canon UK and WWF to raise awareness about the plight of polar bears. Each class was presented with some toy polar bear cubs named Auro and Borea and, through interactive games and stories and discussion, the children are helped to understand that polar bears are endangered because of the threat of global warning.
